Zev Rovine, Dedalus Wine Shop, Hen of the Wood and ArtsRiot are coming together for a night of feasting and drinking. We’re going to pour a lineup of Vin Nature – from Loire PetNats to Nerello from Mount Etna. It’ll be an eyeopening communal drinking, a party at scale, a ruckus night of magnums, family style food and new friends. Did we mention lots of natural wine? Don’t miss it. Invite your friends.
What is natural wine? Who is Zev Rovine? You almost can’t answer the first question without the answer to the second question. Zev is an ambassador. He’s your Paris-by-way-of-Brooklyn pipeline for unadulterated wines. He’s a wine importer. He’s the guy the New York Times turns to when it needs to get a handle on the freaky, delightful, superstitious, mystical world of natural wines. His wines are made without chemical intervention – no herbicides or pesticides, no “big purple” or arsenic additives or centrifuges. Just pure, fermented grape juice made by good people, from the best bits of France and Italy. Zev’s also a helluva nice guy. All that fame hasn’t gone to his head.
