Urban Expression II is a benefit art show bringing together the action sports & arts communities to highlight the paths we have all taken to get to where we are today. Through photography, visual art and music, our aim is to show that each individual is on a unique journey. The event with be held on Saturday, November 12th from 7-10pm and will consist of a live performance by Loupo, silent art auction and product raffle with all proceeds going to benefit the Chill Foundation.

A brainchild of nine Champlain College study abroad students, the first Urban Expression was hosted at the Harbour Playhouse in Dublin, Ireland and brought together artists and performers from around the world. Urban Expression II aims to foster a similar environment, pulling influences mainly from the action sports & arts communities that are both so predominant here in Burlington. Featuring local artists, musicians and products, the night of November 12th will consist of a silent art auction, live DJ and product raffle. All of the proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Chill Foundation.

The Chill Foundation is a non-profit youth development organization, founded in 1995 by Burton Snowboards founders Jake and Donna Carpenter. With year round programs running in 13 cities across North America, their mission is to inspire youth to overcome challenges through snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing and stand-up paddle boarding. The proceeds from Urban Expression II will go to benefit Chill's Burlington programs.

The event will be hosted at Arts Riot on Saturday, November 12th, 2016 from 7pm-10pm. There is a $5 recommended admission fee and raffle tickets will be available for purchase to be entered to win a some of our amazing prizes from our generous donors.
