UVM Professor of Literature Andrew Barnaby and a merry band of actors will perform excerpts of Shakespeare plays as they were meant to be staged . . . for a lively crowd with drinks in their hands! Part of the Ideas on Tap series presented by the Vermont Humanities Council and University of Vermont’s Humanities Center.

Some of the most memorable and important conversations—deep conversations about literature, history, and culture—often happen with friends, over a meal or a drink. The Ideas on Tap series, presented by the Vermont Humanities Council and University of Vermont’s Humanities Center, is designed to convene these sorts of informal, informative, and provocative conversations, and to strengthen them with a scholar’s content expertise. Each event starts at 7 pm and is free and open to the public. The ArtsRiot bar and restaurant will be open for service.
