The YWCA’s annual Stand Against Racism initiative brings people together to raise awareness that racism still exists and can no longer be ignored or tolerated. We are beyond delighted to partner with the Peace & Justice Center and Arts Riot. The YWCA's national Stand Against Racism initiative brings people together to raise awareness that racism still exists and can no longer be ignored or tolerated. We look forward to this public event as members of our community who are working to fight for racial justice stand together against racism and listen with intention to Dr. King's powerful works.

Stand Against Racism is a signature campaign of YWCA USA to build community among those who work for racial justice and to raise awareness about the negative impact of institutional and structural racism in our communities. This campaign is one part of our larger national strategy to fulfill our mission of eliminating racism.

This is the speech that will be read by 16 performers.
