THE TENDERBELLIES are a Vermont-based string band that seamlessly blends Americana, bluegrass, new grass, jazz and rock. Their music ranges from bold and brazen to delicate and somber through tightly arranged songs and improvisational exploration.

The Tenderbellies’ latest album released in 2022, “One By One”, is the culmination of nearly a decade of gigging and songwriting.

Dan Johnson and Windy Mountain:

Dan Johnson is a Vermont-based bluegrass and Americana artist known for his soulful songwriting, masterful musicianship, and deep connection to the traditions of American roots music. With a sound that blends the high lonesome harmonies of bluegrass with the storytelling spirit of folk and the grit of country, Dan has carved out a name for himself in the vibrant New England music scene. Drawing inspiration from the rolling Green Mountains and the rich heritage of Appalachian music, Dan’s performances are a mix of heartfelt originals and fresh takes on timeless classics. Whether playing solo or collaborating with fellow musicians, his warm vocals and intricate picking showcase a love for the craft that resonates with audiences everywhere. Dan has performed at festivals, intimate venues, and gatherings across Vermont and beyond, captivating listeners with his authentic sound and engaging stage presence. As both a performer and a songwriter, he continues to keep the tradition of bluegrass and Americana alive while adding his own unique voice to the genre. Windy Mountain is a project highlighting the music of Tim O’Brien and Hot Rize and some of Tim’s other projects. The band features Geoff Goodhue (Beg, Steal, or Borrow) on mandolin, Eli Goldman (Phil Cohen, The Discussions, Queen City Cut Ups, Sabouyouma) on bass, and Luke Auriemmo (Beg, Steal, or Borrow) on banjo.
